Martin Henrik Gustafson präsentiert sein neues Album "The Ghost That Broke In Half". Sehr persönliche Songs über Gespenster, die die Seele heimsuchen.
Sensible Stimme und emotionelle Songs vom Schweden, dessen Lieder an Bright Eyes zu erinnern vermögen und dessen Stimme nicht unähnlich der von Robert Smith (The Cure) ist. Ungeachtet dessen hat Martin aber längst ein eigenes Profil. Und unzählige Fans in Wien.
Mit Boy Omega hatten wir vor längerer Zeit eines der erfolgreichsten Konzerte in der Vorstadt. Das sollte man doch in der Fledermaus wiederholen können.

Quiet and not-so-quiet songs, accompanied by such instruments as guitar, ukulele and banjo, that's what its mainly about. Writing these songs, Simon Usaty has tried to focus the compositions on their essential statements, to somehow get to the point (if there's such a thing in music). The overall mood, accordingly, is quite emotional. The musical style of protestant work ethic could be called folk or pop. And, there's some blues, too.
