Plàsi, the moniker of Greco-Swedish artist Mikael Bitzarakis, embodies a boundless creativespirit, seamlessly merging diverse sonic landscapes. Camino, he explains, is a testament to his artistic evolution, a "playful EP" that harmonizes his acoustic origins with expansive production. Since his emergence in 2015, Plàsi has quietly amassed over 100 million streams, marked by releases like the Now& Then EP (2016), People LP (2018), Mystery EP (2019), and Foreign Sea LP (2022). His 2024 Salamina EP further showcased his artistic growth, earning praise for its immersive soundscapes and hypnotic melodies.
Plàsi's journey has been punctuated by tours with esteemed artists such as Axel Flóvent, Hollow Coves, Henry Jamison, Efterklang, and José González. Camino was brought to life between Stockholm and Plàsi’s new home of Amsterdam, where he built the second studio of the Swedish producer collective Röda Paradise.
