"Americana" aus Österreich!
Son of the Velvet Rat gehen auf Tour mit Songs aus den "Red Barn Sessions“ und ihrem letzten Album "Ghost Ranch".
Seit mittlerweile 22 Jahren ist die steirische Formation "Son of the Velvet Rat" eine der Top Bands aus Österreich. Mittlerweile wird das Projekt von Georg Altziebler und Heike Binder auch in den Vereinigten Staaten bejubelt, wo die beiden auch viel Zeit verbringen.
Live werden die Songs im Haus der Musik noch einmal auf ihren Kern reduziert. SotVR werden im Duo auftreten. Heike Binder bedient, neben diversen Tasteninstrumenten auch das Schlagwerk.
Das neue Programm umfasst neben aktuellen Songs viele Highlights aus dem Back-Katalog und zeichnet sich durch besondere Vielfalt und Dynamik aus. Die Bandbreite reicht von fragilem Neo-Folk-Chanson bis zu rauem Garage-Rock.
